As a Small Works Contracts Manager, you will oversee the management of reinstatement and insurance works ranging from £50,000 to £250,000 in value. You will be responsible for ensuring efficient project delivery within budgetary constraints, maintaining high-quality standards, and fostering strong client relationships. This role requires expertise in small works and reinstatement management.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Lead and coordinate small works projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets.

  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including resource allocation, risk management, and quality control measures.

  • Monitor project progress regularly, identifying and addressing any deviations from the plan promptly.

  • Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and efficient resource.

  • Track project expenditures, review financial reports, and implement corrective measures as necessary to maintain budgetary compliance.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle, fostering strong relationships and addressing client concerns proactively.

  • Provide regular project updates to clients, ensuring transparency and alignment with their expectations.

  • Qualifications and Skills:


  • Proven experience in small works and reinstatement management, preferably within the construction or related industry.

  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to develop and execute project plans, manage budgets, and mitigate risks effectively.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients, stakeholders, and team members.

  • Demonstrated leadership abilities, with experience leading and motivating multidisciplinary project teams.

  • Proficiency in relevant software tools and systems for project management, budget tracking, and reporting.

  • Valid SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certification and First Aid certification.
