Job Description: As a Private Family Solicitor, you will be responsible for handling a diverse range of family law matters, including divorce, child custody, financial settlements, and prenuptial agreements. You will provide expert legal advice, represent clients in court, and work closely with them to achieve the best possible outcomes.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Manage a caseload of family law matters, including divorce, child custody, financial settlements, and prenuptial agreements.

  • Provide expert legal advice and support to clients, ensuring their needs are met with empathy and professionalism.

  • Represent clients in court and other legal proceedings.

  • Draft legal documents, including petitions, agreements, and court applications.

  • Conduct legal research and stay updated on changes in family law.

  • Collaborate with colleagues and other professionals to provide comprehensive legal services.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date case files and records.

  • Participate in business development activities to promote the firm's family law services.

  • Department growth dependant on experience


Qualifications:



  • Qualified Solicitor with a valid practicing certificate.

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in family law.

  • Strong knowledge of family law and related legal procedures.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to manage a diverse caseload and work under pressure.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • High level of professionalism and ethical standards.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
