This is a highly visible, client-facing role best suited to individuals with a strong command of financial planning and analysis (FP&A) processes, complemented by in-depth experience with EPM platforms.

Core Responsibilities

  • Conduct discovery meetings with senior finance and operations stakeholders to assess current-state planning processes and identify areas for improvement

  • Design and deliver high-quality, client-specific demonstrations of Workday Adaptive Planning functionalities (including budgeting, forecasting, headcount planning, reporting, etc.)

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders on proposals, RFP responses, pricing strategies, and solution architecture

  • Contribute to the creation of pre-sales assets, such as industry-specific demo environments, use case libraries, and technical documentation

  • Support transition of engagements from sales to delivery, ensuring continuity and alignment in expectations

  • Stay current on Adaptive Planning developments, competitive landscape, and industry trends relevant to EPM and finance transformation

Candidate Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 3–6 years of experience in a pre-sales, solution consulting, or FP&A systems implementation role

  • Demonstrable expertise in Workday Adaptive Planning (either as a consultant, power user, or pre-sales professional)

  • Comprehensive understanding of corporate finance functions, including planning, forecasting, and financial reporting

  • Proven ability to engage and influence stakeholders at various organizational levels, including CFOs, Controllers, and IT leaders

  • Proficiency in Excel, financial modelling, and data visualization

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience with additional EPM solutions (e.g., Adaptive, Anaplan, Pigment, Vena)

  • Familiarity with ERP/HRIS integrations and financial systems architecture

  • Professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CFA, Workday Adaptive Certification)
