DevOps Engineer - #1676991

A fintech scale-up, who doubled in size last year, is looking to hire a DevOps Engineer to join their team. Their customers are worldwide, and each country has different requirements to support through their platform. Their product looks at enabling consumers, retailers, rewards publishers and banks around the world to improve customer experience.

They are looking to hire their 2nd in house DevOps Engineer who can be responsible for:

• Deploying updates and fixes and provide Level 2 technical support


• Build tools to reduce the occurrence of errors and improve customer experience


• Develop software to integrate with internal back-end systems (data)


• Perform root cause analysis of production errors and resolve technical issues


• Develop scripts to automate visualisation (management tools such as Sentry and Grafana)


• Design procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance.

Technically they need someone competent with AWS/Linux, any experience with tools such as Terraform or Kubernetes would be advantageous, though not mandatory as these can be taught.

They role is paying up to £65,000 with occasional visits required in Glasgow to meet the team as it grows.
