AWS / SQL Server DBA - Fully Remote - £50,000 - £70,000pa + Bonus + Benefits

JNC are working with an established professional services client that are looking for a SQL Server DBA to join the organisation and help them migrate to AWS.

They need someone who has specific experience with AWS Aurora.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join an established company that continue to grow while offering its staff various avenues for progression and development.

The role is offered on a 99 % remote basis for any UK based applicants. Possibly 1 -2 days a month in the office for important meetings.

Skills & Experience:

• AWS Experience is essential. Aurora and Redshift ideally.


• Strong SQL Server Database Administration skills. (4 years + )


• Extensive TSQL experience (2012 - 2019)


• SQL Server installation, configuration, upgrades and patching experience.


• SQL replication skills.


• Performance Tuning and Query Optimisation experience.


• Troubleshooting capabilities with SSIS and SSRS.


• Worked with organisations that use Always On and Availability Groups.


• Familiar with SDLC and connection to database progression.


• PowerShell skill and use of remote server management.
