Senior Project Manager - #1677540

Templeton and Partners are looking for Project Manager for our global client.

Location- Glasgow, Scotland- hybrid

Contract- 6 months, inside Ir35

Requirements:

• Proven experience managing complex projects


• Strong analytical skills for budget forecasting and cost control


• Effective communication for stakeholder engagement


• Experience in manufacturing industry/ or fast consumer goods


• Previous experience with client ways of working and familiarity with frameworks such as PACE

Financial Management Responsibilities:

• 
  Monthly Financial Cadence: Continuously monitor and ensure accurate monthly financial health visibility by analysing actuals available on WD4-WD5 each month. This helps maintain alignment with budget forecasts.


• 
  Forecasting: Regularly update forecasts (Latest Estimate - LE) in Planview to reflect current spend estimations and phasing. Weekly updates are crucial for keeping the project financially on track.


• 
  LE vs. LA Analysis: Conduct ongoing analysis to identify opportunities (LE < LA) and mitigate risks (LE > LA) against approved budgets, ensuring financial stability throughout the project's lifecycle.


• 
  Monthly Portfolio Snapshot: Ensure that all estimates are updated before the official snapshot date each month to support informed investment decisions and maintain transparency.


• 
  Resource Allocation & Timesheets: Accurately forecast resource utilisation and ensure timesheet recharges are correctly reflected in project costs to manage expenses effectively.
