Peaple Talent have partnered with a leading software solutions company based in Poole, Dorset who are currently recruiting a Compliance Manager to lead and support the company’s ongoing maintenance and compliance with ISO 9001 (Quality Management), ISO 20001 (IT Service Management System), ISO 22301 (Business Continuity Management systems) and ISO27001 (Information Security Management System – ISMS)


This role will be responsible for developing, implementing, and continuously improving compliance frameworks, policies, and internal audit processes to ensure the highest operational standards are met.


The successful candidate will work cross-functionally to embed a culture of quality, sustainability, and service excellence across the organisation.


The role will be based in Poole, however, you will be required to travel to additional UK office locations as and when required.


Role and responsibilities



  • Lead the implementation and certification process for ISO

  • Ensure the business meets all regulatory and ISO certification requirements, preparing for and coordinating internal and external audits.

  • Work closely with teams across the business to integrate ISO compliance into daily business operations

  • Ensure monitoring of regulatory changes

  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement in line with ISO principles

  • Undertake gap analysis and risk assessments to identify areas for improvement before audits

  • Implement an Integrated Management System (IMS)

  • Deliver value-adding awareness campaigns to build a strong compliance culture

  • Develop and deliver training to ensure stakeholders understand their roles within compliance

  • Provide ongoing support and guidance to teams.

  • Provide support and guidance to the Data Protection Officer in relation to GDPR compliance.


Essential skills and experience



  • Deep understanding of relevant ISO standards – ISO 9001, 27001, 20000, 22301

  • Proven experience in compliance management, preferably within a quality or information security context

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and address compliance issues

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively train employees and engage with stakeholders

  • Auditing skills to conduct internal audits and assess compliance against ISO standards

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve compliance goals

  • Proven and demonstrable experience in management of ISO standards

  • Strong knowledge of quality management systems and information security best practices


Desirable skills



  • ISO Lead Auditor Certification

  • Degree in relevant discipline
