Job Details
Shift Pattern: Monday - Thursday, 9am to 5pm
Salary: Pro rata for part-time hours
Role Responsibilities
The post holder will be responsible for daily technical operations within the Immunology and Neuroimmunology laboratory at Queen Elizabeth University Hospital. Responsibilities include rotating through lab sections, performing manual and automated diagnostic tests, and completing a specialist portfolio in Clinical Immunology if not already qualified.
Qualifications and Experience
Candidates must be registered as a Biomedical Scientist with the HCPC. Experience in an Immunology or Neuroimmunology diagnostic laboratory, or familiarity with related techniques, is highly desirable.
Additional Information
This is a part-time position, working 21.5 hours per week, Monday to Thursday. Annex 21 may apply. There is a requirement to participate in a weekend and public holiday on-call rota after training.
