You will lead the evolution of our digital landscape, driving innovation and excellence, harnessing cutting-edge technology to revolutionise our digital offerings and ensure unparalleled customer experiences.
To be successful as an IFC Transaction Monitoring Business Analyst, you should have experience with:
- Knowledge of Transaction Monitoring tools and sanctions regulatory frameworks.
- Experience in a regulated business environment with governance, control, and risk management exposure, ensuring adherence to procedures.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a proven ability to build relationships and engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Knowledge of the UK and global financial crime regulatory frameworks.
- Experience in transaction monitoring reviews, identifying trends such as large cash withdrawals, deposits, and transactions on dormant accounts.
- Knowledge and experience in using financial crime industry software solutions and profiling.
- Knowledge of sanctions monitoring tools and sanctions regulatory requirements.
Additional valued skills include:
- Confidence to contribute and make business-critical decisions.
- An understanding of financial crime, market surveillance, AML, and transaction monitoring/detection systems and processes, including trends and typologies related to AML and terrorist financing.
- Experience using analytical tools for data exploration, analysis, and visualization.
Assessment areas include risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen, strategic thinking, digital and technological skills, and job-specific technical skills.
This role can be based in Glasgow or London.
Purpose of the role
To support the organisation in achieving its strategic objectives by identifying business requirements and solutions that address business problems and opportunities.
Accountabilities
- Identify and analyse business problems and client requirements requiring change.
- Develop business requirements to address identified problems and opportunities.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure proposed solutions meet their needs and expectations.
- Support the creation of business cases to justify investments.
- Conduct feasibility studies to assess proposed solutions' viability.
- Support project progress reporting to ensure timely and within-budget delivery.
- Create operational and process designs to ensure solutions are delivered within scope.
- Assist in change management activities, including developing traceability matrices for successful implementation and embedding.
