Job Title: Clinical Nurse Specialist - Travel Health

NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is one of the largest healthcare systems in the UK, employing around 40,000 staff across various clinical and non-clinical roles. The shift pattern for this position is Monday to Friday.

Role Overview

We are recruiting for a Clinical Nurse Specialist within NHSGGC Travel Health Services. This role is part of an existing Travel Health Team. The CNS in Travel Health requires specialist clinical knowledge to manage patient care independently, including assessment, decision-making, and formulation of vaccination and treatment plans for travelers.


The post holder will provide expert advice and support to clients making travel decisions, especially where additional vaccinations or travel medicines are needed. They will also contribute to service development, improve practice, and collaborate across healthcare boundaries by implementing and evaluating evidence-based standards, guidelines, and policies.
