Plating and Masking Operatives - #1692455

We are hiring Masking and Plating Operators for a leading engineering business in Glasgow. No prior experience is required – full training is provided on the job.

These roles involve intricate, hands-on work using small tools, making them ideal for individuals with good hand-eye coordination and an eye for detail. You will be working as part of a supportive and experienced team in a well-established manufacturing environment.

What We’re Looking For:

• Steady hand and confidence using small hand tools
• Comfortable working on detailed, precision tasks
• Strong communication skills and a positive, engaged attitude
• Reliability, teamwork and willingness to learn

Working Hours:

• 37 hours per week
• Monday to Thursday: 8.00 am – 4.30 pm
• Friday: 8.00 am – 1.00 pm
• Once fully trained, you’ll rotate into a backshift pattern with your team

Team & Leadership:

You’ll join either the Masking or Plating team, both led by a highly experienced and hands-on Team Lead who is known for being supportive, patient and encouraging. You’ll be part of a tight-knit unit that values communication, flexibility and mutual support.
