DWF LLP is seeking to recruit an enthusiastic Senior Associate to join our expanding General Insurance team with experience in litigated Motor Claims.

The successful candidate will be based in either our Glasgow or Edinburgh offices with the option of Hybrid working arrangement.

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring, in conjunction with the partner and associates, that cases are progressed as quickly and efficiently as possible.
  • Working with our valued and long-standing clients to understand requirements and manage cases in line with service level agreements and best practice.
  • Prioritising work effectively and maximising efficiency in working practices
  • Building stakeholder relationships both internally and externally
  • Developing your technical and commercial knowledge via training or working practices

What will help you succeed in this role?

Essential Criteria

  • Post-qualification experience in motor litigation, IE Motor Claims, motor accidents, motor fraud, etc.
  • Experience of working within a busy commercial environment, handling a varied caseload
  • Strong technical and commercial expertise, including a thorough grasp of principles and case law

Desirable Criteria

  • The ability to develop new skills and to use your initiative, with the support of an experienced team
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail
