About the Role:
AA Euro Group is seeking an experienced Electrical Quality Engineer to join a reputable and well-established engineering company working on substation projects across the Glasgow region. This is a permanent opportunity offering career growth within a thriving and supportive team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and implement quality control processes across electrical substation projects
- Ensure all electrical works comply with project specifications, standards, and regulatory requirements
- Conduct inspections, audits, and testing of electrical systems and equipment
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive quality documentation and reports
- Liaise with site teams, project managers, and clients to resolve quality-related issues
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across project sites
- Participate in commissioning activities where required
Requirements:
- Degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- Proven experience in a quality engineering role within the power, utility, or substation sector
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems and relevant safety and quality standards
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 and other relevant quality frameworks
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Right to work in the UK
