Shift Information - Availability required for various shifts between 8.00am-9.00pm Monday - Friday & weekend availability.

We are seeking a Radiology Department Administrator to provide comprehensive administration services to the consultant radiologists, radiology team, and private patients. The post holder will be responsible for efficient administration in all aspects of patient appointment booking and reception duties, processing referral forms, and responding to face-to-face, telephone, and email enquiries. The role requires strict adherence to policies, managing workload, and supporting administrative colleagues in meeting departmental objectives. Please note this is a patient facing role.
As a Administrator, you will:
Efficiently manage patient appointment bookings and reception duties
Process referral forms and liaise with GP's, Consultants, and other hospital staff regarding imaging reports and appointments
Respond to face-to-face, telephone, and email enquiries in a professional and empathetic manner
Manage workload effectively and support administrative colleagues in meeting departmental objectives
Work with CRIS and PACS computer systems
Assist in the smooth and efficient running of Radiology services
Image transferring between hospitals
As a Administrator, you will have:
Excellent organisational and IT skills
Ability to use initiative and attention to detail
Strong customer service skills
Reliable and professional
Ability to work in a team environment
Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures is desirable
Previous experience in a healthcare administrative role is desirable
The ability to multitask and prioritise your workload
