About the Role: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Business Development Manager to drive strategic growth and business expansion across the UK. This role is ideally suited to someone who excels at building high-level relationships, understands client needs deeply, and possesses a proven ability to generate and secure significant new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify, monitor, and pursue new business opportunities with high-value clients, selling directly at director and senior executive levels.
  • Utilise AI-driven tools and platforms to streamline business development processes, enhancing speed, efficiency, and effectiveness.
  • Implement effective strategies that align with regional and company-wide growth objectives to consistently achieve and exceed business development targets.
  • Manage and allocate business development budgets effectively, ensuring optimal return on investment.
  • Plan, organise, and manage business development events aimed at enhancing client relationships and generating new leads.
  • Collaborate closely with various internal business units to secure new business opportunities that benefit the entire organisation.
  • Represent the company professionally, maintaining integrity, ethical standards, and excellence in every client interaction.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Proven track record of successful business-to-business (B2B) sales experience, specifically engaging and closing deals at director level and above.
  • Demonstrated proficiency and practical experience in leveraging AI technologies for enhanced business development outcomes.
  • Strong capability in building and maintaining lasting relationships with clients, understanding their unique needs, and translating these into actionable sales opportunities.
  • Experience managing budgets and collaborating across departments to achieve business objectives.
  • Exceptional professionalism, integrity, communication skills, and a commitment to ethical business practices.
