Base Location: UK Wide, with occasional visits to Watford

The In-House Tax team is looking to recruit a Manager, specialising in overseas employment and expatriate tax compliance. This is a hybrid working role. The individual will be required to demonstrate exceptional tax compliance skills and the ability to work to tight deadlines. The work will involve working closely with other tax professionals to deliver an efficient overseas employment tax compliance service.
What will you be doing?
- Providing international employment tax and social security advice to the business.
- Offering support and advice on the implications of creating a Permanent Establishment.
- Liaising with and obtaining advice from other KPMG member firms on local employer reporting requirements and personal tax compliance.
- Providing clear guidance to business, HR, Reward, and other teams and following up.
- Handling ad hoc overseas tax compliance projects as and when required.
- Supporting international aspects of partner tax returns, including those seconded overseas.
- Preparing the Short Term Business Visitors report for HMRC.
What will you need to do it?
- Minimum of 6 years practical overseas employment/expatriate tax experience.
- Strong employment tax and/or expatriate tax technical skills.
- Excellent organisational skills.
- Ability to develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
- High level of analytical skills and a commercial approach to resolving issues and delivering services.
- Strong interpersonal skills in addition to strong oral and written communication skills.
- ATT/CTA/ACA qualified (preferred).
