Commercial Bid Finance Manager

Location: Hybrid – Glasgow (preferred) or other UK sites with travel to Glasgow every fortnight

Salary: £65,000 – £80,000 + Bonus

We’re partnering with a leading UK-based technology company at the forefront of innovation across defence and critical national infrastructure. They are seeking a Bid Finance Manager to join their high-performing team and help drive the success of major UK and international projects.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead the estimating, costing, and financial modelling activities for bids and proposals


• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to present financial insights and analysis to senior leadership


• Build robust financial models covering costs, overheads, funding, cash flow, margin, and profitability


• Support the ongoing improvement of pricing methodologies, processes, and tools

What You’ll Bring:

Essential:

• Proven experience in a bid finance or similar role


• Strong numerical and analytical skills


• Confident communicator with the ability to influence stakeholders


• Organised, detail-oriented, and self-motivated

Desirable:

• Background in Aerospace, Defence, or Technical Services


• Familiarity with UK MOD procurement and cost assurance processes


• Experience with tools like Microsoft Office Suite, ProPricer, or PRICE TruePlanning
