There are 2 permanent positions. 1 full time, 37 hours and 1 part time, 26 hours. (Please note the salary is Pro Rata) for part time hours.

The shift pattern for this position is Mon-Frid, 08.30-16.30.

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Health Care Support Worker to join the midwifery team at GG&C. Under the direction of a Senior Charge Midwife, the HCSW will provide a high quality, safe and supportive environment in order to care for patients within the Women & Children’s Directorate.

The post holder will assist in delivering personalised plans centred on the individual needs of women and their families. They will support the midwifery team in delivery of highest level of care whilst adhering to Health Board Policies, Departmental Policies, Heath & Safety, Data Protection and Confidentiality Policies.

Excellent communication and documentation skills is a requirement of the job and the successful candidate will be able to work well within a team providing clerical and admin support as required.
