Salary – Circa £65,000

A bit about the job:

The UKGI Claims Counter Fraud Senior Lead has responsibility for fraud prevention across UKGI Property Claims (Home and Commercial Property), covering the development of counter-fraud strategies and effective management of in-house fraud triage and investigation activity, in addition to oversight of any outsourced counter fraud activity to our legal and/or loss adjuster / investigation suppliers. This role owns the strategic development and execution of the Counter Fraud team to be the UK market leader, building operational excellence, readiness for new and emerging trends and operational resilience. Our ambition is to combine both human capability and advanced analytics to counter the threat of fraud, so the role will include deploying claims analytics, technology solutions, improving detection and investigation techniques to drive improved customer outcomes and counter-fraud performance.

Leading a team of circa 40-50 colleagues, the role will be responsible for the expansion strategy of the Property Counter-Fraud team to ensure delivery against business defined standards and goals (both financial and non-financial), which supports the wider Property team in achieving its overall indemnity targets and improve customer experience. The role holder will act as a role model for Aviva values in action and embed a culture of continuous improvement within the team to drive further efficiencies and improvements to the fraud end-to-end process.
