Mac Recruit Group are delighted to be working with one of our long standing clients as they are looking to welcome a Financial Accountant to the team. Whether you are looking for a move from Practice into Industry or looking for a new challenge in the Business to Business Service sector, this role might be for you.


Main Responsibilities



  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial and management reports, ensuring compliance with Group reporting deadlines and accounting standards.

  • Manage core financial operations, including balance sheet reconciliations, deferred tax schedules, and treasury activities such as forward exchange transactions, bank guarantees, and account balances.

  • Lead the year-end audit process, acting as the main point of contact for external auditors across UK and selected international entities.

  • Handle tax compliance, including preparation of Corporation Tax returns, domestic and overseas VAT filings, and support transfer pricing documentation.

  • Contribute to financial planning and analysis through rolling forecasts, business plans, and financial due diligence for acquisitions.

  • Support integration of newly acquired entities and ensure alignment with Group financial systems, policies, and internal controls.

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and ensure timely submission of all statutory and regulatory filings, including National Statistics returns.

  • Provide general financial and administrative support across the Finance and Purchasing teams as needed.


Skills and Experience


Our client are looking for a qualified or qualified by experience financial professional who is confident working in a multi-entity, international environment. Strong knowledge of IFRS, UK GAAP, and audit processes is essential, as is the ability to manage priorities under tight deadlines.
