SAP HCM Payroll Consultant (UK & Ireland)
Remote (Minimal Travel Required)
Overview
We are looking for a SAP HCM Payroll Consultant to join the talented UK Managed Services team, which includes experienced SAP SuccessFactors and Payroll consultants. In this role, you will support a wide range of customers and deliver high-quality SAP HCM payroll services across managed services portfolio.
You'll handle diverse tasks including ad hoc configuration changes, annual payroll patching support, process improvement recommendations, and participation in mini-projects. You'll work closely with customers, helping them implement best practice solutions, while also collaborating with a high-performing team of experts.
This is a remote-based position with minimal travel requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver expert SAP HCM Payroll services for UK and Ireland customers
Handle configuration, enhancement, and support activities within SAP Payroll
Support annual payroll patching processes
Collaborate with clients to identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices
Participate in small-scale projects and change requests
Provide day-to-day functional and technical support in a managed services environment
Essential Skills & Experience
Strong experience (8+ years) in SAP Payroll including configuration, schema modifications, and testing
In-depth knowledge of UK and Irish payroll legislation and processes
Experience working with SAP HCM modules such as Personnel Administration and Time Management (positive and negative)
Background in SAP support and change request handling
Proven ability to analyse and recommend process improvements with confidence
Desirable Skills
Understanding of SAP SuccessFactors and integration between Employee Central (EC) and SAP ERP
SuccessFactors certification in at least one module
Basic ABAP development or debugging skills
