Job Description Key holder (takeaway) Location Glasgow :

OverviewWe are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated people to join our team. As a Team Member, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional service to our customers while ensuring the smooth operation of our coffee and food takeaway.

Duties

• Open unit making sure everything is in order for the day ahead.


• Closing unit making sure everything is in good order ready for opening the next day.


• Food preparation and ensure all culinary tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.


• Preparing coffees to a high standard.


• Maintain strict adherence to food safety guidelines and hygiene standards to guarantee the safety of our customers.


• Engage with customers, providing friendly service and upselling menu items to enhance their experience.


• Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during peak hours while maintaining quality.


• Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operation of the takeaway


• Perform basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately at the till.


• Keep the kiosk clean and organised, ensuring all equipment is properly maintained.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a culinary or restaurant environment is preferred but not essential.


• Strong understanding of food safety practices is highly desirable.


• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy setting.


• Basic maths skills for processing orders and payments accurately.


• A positive attitude with a willingness to help both customers and team members alike.


• Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail in food preparation and service.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £12.85 per hour
