The shift pattern for this position is Monday - Friday.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the team as a Charge Nurse in Beatson West of Scotland Cancer Centre within the Ward B8 Day Unit. As an essential part of our team, youll deliver high quality, clinically effective patient care at all times. We can offer you a varied caseload including caring for patients receiving Systemic Anti-Cancer Therapies and the care of patients at varying stages in their cancer journey, that will help you develop your capabilities and experience.

In the absence of the Senior Charge nurse, the post holder would be responsible for the day to day running of the ward.

Experience in an oncology healthcare setting is desirable but not essential, however candidates must hold an NMC registration to apply. This area cares for patients receiving chemotherapy for cancer. Good interpersonal, writing and numeracy skills essential.
