Do you hold a Level 3 NVQ or equivalent in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and have previous experience working on HGVs or have you completed an apprenticeship in the HGV industry?
As part of our team at Volvo, you will work a 39-hour week on our rotational night shift, earning up to £20 per hour with overtime, a quarterly bonus, and excellent earning potential.

The Role – some of your key responsibilities will include:
- Carrying out regular MOT service inspections on a wide range of manufacturers’ trucks, fault finding, and repairs on engines, gearboxes, brakes, suspension systems, etc.
Carry out repairs to a high standard according to Volvo procedures, safely and responsibly.
Assist in the fault diagnosis process.
Service customer vehicles and complete service sheets.
Road test vehicles when required (if you hold an HGV license).
Assist with roadside breakdowns.
Process all relevant paperwork accurately.
Report all vehicle defects.
Maintain workshop facilities, equipment, and tools.
Support the development of trainees and apprentices.
