Locum Trauma & Orthopaedic Physiotherapist – Glasgow

Role Overview:

As a Locum Trauma & Orthopaedic Physiotherapist, you will:

• Assess, diagnose, and treat patients with musculoskeletal injuries and post-operative rehabilitation needs.


• Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to develop tailored treatment plans.


• Provide expert advice and education on rehabilitation and injury prevention.


• Deliver high-standard physiotherapy care in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

Qualifications & Experience Required:

Essential:

• HCPC registration as a Physiotherapist.


• BSc or MSc in Physiotherapy from an accredited institution.


• Minimum of two years’ experience in trauma and orthopaedics.


• Strong clinical reasoning and rehabilitation skills.


• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Desirable:

• Experience in post-surgical rehabilitation and acute trauma management.


• Previous NHS or private sector experience in a similar setting.


• Additional certifications in manual therapy, hydrotherapy, or advanced rehabilitation techniques.
