Here at The Clarence, we are currently hiring for a chef de partie to expand our friendly, hardworking team. We are on the hunt for experienced industry professionals with a passion to learn and strive to be the best every day.


The Clarence is the latest venture from Cultar Restaurant Group, which also runs Michelin-starred Cail Bruich and Michelin-recommended Brett. The recently refurbished restaurant & bar serves modern classics in a relaxed & friendly environment. Technique & execution of the product are at the heart of everything we do.


We also believe strongly in a work/life balance, which is why our team works 4 days over a 7-day rota, ensuring flexibility in scheduling & more time for yourself.


Core skill set & requirements

  • Support the Head Chef/Sous Chef and the team, ensuring smooth daily operations.

  • Have a genuine passion for great food with experience as a chef de partie in a high-quality, fast-paced kitchen.

  • Able to work as part of a team & communicate effectively.

  • Able to organise a complete section by writing comprehensive MEP sheets, order lists, & prioritising tasks efficiently.

  • Take pride in your role & appearance.

  • Demonstrate great attention to detail & a strive for excellence daily.


Salary and benefits package includes:

  • £11.90 PH plus an equal share of TRONC tips from service charge & cash tips (approx £2.50-£3 PH)
