Location: Beatson West of Scotland Cancer Centre
The Beatson Cancer Centre is seeking to appoint a Clinical Development Fellow. This program offers comprehensive training in all aspects of Oncology, with opportunities for placements in Palliative Medicine and Clinical Haematology. Under supervision from Oncology Consultants and Specialty Trainees, fellows will participate in patient management at ward level and may access outpatient clinics, radiotherapy, an Acute Oncology Assessment Unit, and an Enhanced Care Unit.
The Centre is organized around six wards (B1-B5 and B7), focusing on non-surgical cancer treatments. Fellows will primarily be based in wards B1, B2, B4, B5, and B7. A key component of this fellowship is career development, including CV enhancement, interview preparation, and audit projects that will be presented at national or international meetings.
Qualifications and Experience: Candidates should ideally possess MRCP (UK/I) or equivalent by the start of the post. Experience in Oncology, Palliative Medicine, or Clinical Haematology is advantageous. Career prospects in this expanding specialty are excellent.
