Shift Pattern: Mon-Fri, 9AM-5PM
Role Summary:
The post-holder will be a vital member of the multidisciplinary team, working collaboratively with clinical staff to deliver compassionate care and therapeutic activities within an inpatient ward/department. Responsibilities include planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing and therapeutic care programs with a person-centred, recovery-focused approach.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver and coordinate evidence-based therapeutic activities for patients within the ward.
- Contribute to Person-Centred Care Plans, setting and reporting on individual goals.
- Support and supervise low-intensity Psychological Therapies, under the guidance of inpatient Psychologists.
- Participate in the Psychological Therapies agenda and contribute to the local steering group.
- Support the education and training of nursing staff and students, both within clinical settings and academic environments.
- Support policy implementation and practice changes, including the Continuous Intervention Policy.
- Supervise the Therapeutic Activity Healthcare Support Worker.
