Maintenance Engineer - Contract - #1707984

Available immediately or at short notice for a contract position?

Experience of working in a fast-paced, automated, distribution environment or similar?

I am looking to speak with experienced maintenance engineers, either multi-skilled, electrically or mechanically biased, for a new contract position with a company based in the Glasgow region.

Working on a 4 on, 4 off rotation, you will be required to work alongside the existing team of maintenance engineers on both reactive and preventative tasks in supporting the facilities distribution activities.

The client, a large manufacturing business, needs additional support for a likely minimum of 3 months, to work with the existing permanent engineering team to maintain a variety of distribution equipment including conveyors and wrappers.

Key requirements:

• Proven experience of working in a similar maintenance engineering role
• Strong fault-finding and problem solving skills
• Ability and willingness to work on both reactive and PPM jobs
• You must be happy and have previous experience of working at height and any qualifications/certifications in this field would be highly beneficial.

Although this is an automated site, specific experience in this area isn't required but would be beneficia such as with ASRS systems.
