Roadside Recovery Assistant – Glasgow Salary: £27,000 – £30,000 per annum Location: Glasgow Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent Industry: Commercial Vehicle Services We are currently looking for a Roadside Recovery Assistant to join a large, well-established commercial vehicle company based in Glasgow. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong mechanical background who thrives in a hands-on, fast-paced environment and enjoys helping people in need of roadside support. The Role: As a Roadside Recovery Assistant, you’ll support the recovery and roadside assistance team in responding to vehicle breakdowns. You'll play a vital role in ensuring commercial vehicles are recovered safely and efficiently, with a focus on excellent service delivery. Key Responsibilities:

• Attend breakdowns and assist in the recovery of commercial vehicles
• Provide basic roadside repairs or arrange onward recovery
• Ensure safe working practices and excellent customer service on every job
• Support the lead technician with tools, equipment, and on-site assistance
• Communicate clearly with the control centre and drivers

About You:

• Previous experience working with vehicles (HGV, LCV, or similar)
• Good mechanical understanding and problem-solving skills
• A proactive, customer-focused attitude
• Ability to stay calm and professional in high-pressure situations
• Full UK driving licence (essential)
