Our client, one of the leading providers of facilities services in the UK, is looking for a Space Planning & Move Coordinator to join their fast-paced, collaborative team.This is a hands-on role where you'll be involved in delivering space planning solutions, managing office moves, and coordinating reconfigurations across a dynamic workplace environment.This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys seeing their plans come to life on site. Overtime is available, and you'll be working as part of a supportive and high-performing team.

Job Description

Key responsibilities include planning and implementing move projects, creating move layout designs, managing small moves and furniture requests, and raising any related maintenance or service tasks.AutoCAD experience is essential, and familiarity with building regulations relating to office design is important.You’ll need strong skills in space planning, stakeholder engagement, contractor management, and move coordination. While a background in interior design or architecture would be a bonus, it’s not essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Use AutoCAD to design and plan office layouts for the client, transitioning from Portacabins to permanent office spaces
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and project managers to stay informed on upcoming works and space improvement initiatives
  • Schedule and coordinate Moves, Adds, and Changes (MAC) to ensure efficiency and best value for the client
  • Maintain accurate project tracking using the Moves tracker and ensure POs are raised and monitored prior to works
  • Provide regular updates to the MAC Manager on workload and future pipeline
  • Manage MAC process documentation and completion files, ensuring compliance and organisation
  • Participate in weekly coordination meetings and confidently present project updates and resource planning insights

Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications

  • Proven experience using AutoCAD to design and plan office spaces
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders and project managers
  • Understanding of key financial, labour, and material variables, with the ability to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Experience coordinating office moves or fit-outs, ideally within a multi-site environment
  • Ability to manage scheduling, documentation, and resource planning for ongoing projects
  • Comfortable presenting updates in coordination meetings Interior Design certification is desirable
