Interim Technical Services Manager – NHS Estate (Glasgow)Boden is recruiting for an Interim Technical Services Manager to support the operations of a busy NHS estate in Glasgow. This is a key role focused on managing plant and equipment maintenance, ensuring technical compliance, and upholding health and safety standards across the site.�� Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all technical aspects of plant and equipment maintenance across the estate.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures, site policies, and all relevant legislation.
• Take on AP/CP/RP responsibilities where appropriate.
• Conduct technical and quality audits to ensure statutory and technical compliance.
• Liaise with the client and subcontractors, provide technical guidance, and review RAMS and contractor competencies.
• Support development and adherence to maintenance procedures and best practices.
• Manage the day-to-day engineering team and participate in emergency and contingency planning.
• Act as the main point of contact for technical queries and deputise for the Contract Manager when required.

• Lead a team of engineers to meet KPIs and ensure high standards of maintenance delivery.
• Maintain full compliance with health and safety, quality, and environmental standards.
• Support risk management, incident response, and ongoing improvement of site operations.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external service providers to ensure effective service delivery.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in engineering or facilities management.
• Strong technical knowledge of building services, compliance, and maintenance operations.
• Experience using CAFM systems and Microsoft Office.
• Qualifications: Building Services or a Mechanical/Electrical field.
