Job Description We are proud to be working with our valued client on hiring a Manufacturing Engineer. The Manufacturing Engineer plays a crucial role in developing, installing, maintaining, and improving manufacturing processes for our cable assemblies and electro-mechanical products. This position requires a blend of innovation and operational expertise, with responsibilities including new product introductions (NPI) and sustaining ongoing production.
Develop, install, maintain, and improve manufacturing processes for cable assemblies and electro-mechanical products.
New Product Introductions (NPI): Work on NPI and sustaining ongoing production, requiring innovation and operational expertise.
Troubleshoot and eliminate process defects, conduct statistical process analysis to ensure optimal production efficiency.
Lean Manufacturing: Implement lean principles to ensure continuous improvement and waste reduction.
Financial Acumen: Handle cost estimation, make tooling recommendations, and improve workflow efficiency to optimise production costs.
Experience: 5-10 years in an electromechanical manufacturing environment, specifically working on precision mechanics.
Degree in Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis).
Advanced MS Office skills, particularly in Excel.
CAD (Computer-Aided Design), preferably SolidWorks, as a bonus.
