The role:
This is a great opportunity for an outgoing and enthusiastic individual to join a growing business in a field-based sales and account management role. Working with a range of fantastic brands in the FMCG non-food sector, this role offers an excellent chance to develop your career in commercial sales.
You will manage a defined territory covering the specified area with an existing account base of Independent and Convenience stores, along with some specialist retailers, and will also focus on new business development. The role and business are highly customer-focused; they seek individuals who can build strong relationships with their accounts and act as mini-Business Managers, supporting mutual growth plans.
The role utilizes various skills including sales, account management, new business development, and creative merchandising. You should be well-prepared, organized, and confident in working remotely to targets and KPIs.
You’ll need to be:
- An enthusiastic person who enjoys face-to-face contact with customers
- Motivated to sell and achieve sales targets
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment
- Ideally has a couple of years of field sales experience in FMCG, retail management, or commercial sales
- Highly personable, energetic, and able to understand the needs of retailers
