Located within the picturesque and historic area of South Lanarkshire, our care home is a private, luxurious care facility that offers Residential, Dementia, Nursing and Respite care for 75-residents.

We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Clinical Deputy Manager to join our dedicated team.

What We Offer



  • £48,928.88 per annum (£24.44 per hour)

  • 40 hours per week, fully supernumerary

  • Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (clinical cover may be required in emergencies or as needed)

  • Paid PVG, pension, uniform provided, free onsite parking

  • 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full-time contract)


What You Will Do



  • Lead Clinical Care: Oversee and drive the clinical care delivered to residents, ensuring high standards and tailored care plans.

  • Enhance Resident Experience: Create a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment for residents and their families—from admission to day-to-day living.

  • Engage with Stakeholders: Build meaningful relationships with residents, relatives, colleagues, healthcare professionals, and the local community.

  • Support and Develop Staff: Guide and mentor your team, providing training opportunities and fostering a culture of continuous development.

  • Act as Deputy: Step in confidently for the Home Manager when required, demonstrating strong leadership and decision-making abilities.


What We’re Looking For



  • NMC-Registered Nurse: RGN or RMN with strong clinical knowledge.

  • Experience with Older People: Previous experience in elderly care is desirable.

  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and motivate a team.

  • Mentorship Mindset: Committed to developing staff through guidance and training.

  • Reliable and Adaptable: Comfortable taking on additional responsibilities as needed.
