About the role:


The IT Project Manager is responsible for delivering overall project objectives and specific team deliverables, by the planning of project activities and executing assigned tasks/work within the expected quality standards, to ensure the project is a success.


This role can be split between home and on-site. Ideally based in Glasgow or Perth, Scotland.


Here’s what the role looks like:



  • Manage a portfolio of projects ranging in size and complexity, and ensuring projects are delivered in scope, on time and within budget.

  • Develop and manage detailed project schedule and work plans.

  • Assemble, plan, and lead technical teams to deliver the project objectives.

  • Track project progress and costs, and proactively manage any changes via a controlled Change management process.

  • Create and maintain project documentation to track actions, risks, and issues.

  • Provide project reporting, both internal and external.

  • Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards

  • Risk management and mitigations

  • Facilitation of workshops with a variety of stakeholders


Here are the key skills and experience relevant to this role:



  • You'll be an experienced IT Project Manager with exposure to the delivery of a range of IT projects.

  • You'll work alongside a highly experienced technical delivery team.

  • You'll support clients and colleagues alike through the delivery of complex and technically challenging transformation programmes with a primary focus on networking solutions and systems integration.

  • You'll be given the opportunity to work on projects that will allow you to keep your skillset at the forefront of developments in both technology and PM methodology.

  • Knowledge / experience working on large capital projects

  • Knowledge and awareness of Microsoft Products(e.g. PowerBI, Forms ) would be beneficial
