Site Engineer - #1743995

An established civil engineering contractor is seeking a Site Engineer to support ongoing rail station infrastructure and general civil works across central Scotland.

This is an excellent opportunity to take on a pivotal role within a forward-thinking project team delivering high-profile infrastructure schemes.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate day-to-day site operations

• Set out works and carry out site surveying activities

• Ensure works meet quality, safety, and environmental standards

• Interpret technical drawings and specifications

• Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and project stakeholders

• Assist with weekly site planning, logistics, and documentation

• Maintain accurate site records, including diaries and inspections

About the Projects

Projects include:

• Rail station platforms and structural upgrades

• Highways and road improvement works

• Bridges, tunnels, earthworks, and flood prevention

• Power infrastructure and environmental enhancements

What We’re Looking For

• HNC, HND, or Degree in Civil Engineering

• Proven experience in setting out and site engineering roles

• Ability to read and implement technical drawings

• Experience managing subcontractors and materials

• Strong record-keeping and communication skills

• Experience with Inspection Test Plans and Work Package Plans preferred
