Operations Director – Soft Services (Cleaning) – Glasgow£75,000 - £80,000 + Car Allowance + Bonus

A leading soft services provider is seeking an experienced Operations Director to lead their cleaning division across Scotland. Based from their Glasgow head office, you will play a pivotal role in shaping operational strategy, ensuring service excellence, and fostering a high-performance culture throughout the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, coach, and develop a large, multi-site operational team, instilling a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted partner and solutions provider.

• Challenge and refine existing processes to drive efficiencies and elevate service standards.

• Collaborate with senior leadership to define and deliver operational strategy and business growth targets.

• Ensure compliance with industry standards and company procedures.

• Mentor middle management and emerging leaders to build a robust succession pipeline.

About You:

• Proven experience at a senior leadership level within the cleaning or broader soft FM sector.

• A strategic thinker with a hands-on approach and a track record of delivering operational improvements.

• Exceptional communicator with strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.

• Commercially astute and client-focused with the ability to identify and implement practical, scalable solutions.

• Passionate about people development, with experience in coaching, mentoring, and performance management.

Location:

• Office-based in Glasgow, with travel across the UK as required.
