Senior Project Engineer - Security & Communication Systems (Hybrid)

Join a forward-thinking engineering team working on major energy infrastructure projects that make a real difference. Based in Glasgow or Birmingham, this hybrid role (2-3 days office-based) focuses on integrated security and communication systems for high-impact developments.

Key responsibilities:

• Analyse customer specifications and develop compliant technical solutions
• Create system designs, technical specs, and manage BIM/BMS models
• Troubleshoot systems and coordinate with internal teams, suppliers, and customers
• Review vendor documentation and validate against relevant standards
• Evaluate technical bids for procurement

About you:

• Degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Electronics Engineering
• At least 5 years' experience in telecoms and security system design
• Skilled in access control, CCTV, intruder detection, PA systems, and video conferencing
• Proficient in AutoCAD, BIM360 and protocols like BACnet/Modbus
• Strong communicator with excellent attention to detail and multitasking ability

Location: Hybrid (2-3 days in Glasgow or Birmingham office); some travel may be required. Please note: visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
