Clinical Rotational Dietitian-Adult Acute Services - #1748883

NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is one of the largest healthcare systems in the UK employing around 40,000 staff in a wide range of clinical and non-clinical professions and job roles. We deliver acute hospital, primary, community and mental health care services to a population of over 1.15 million and a wider population of 2.2 million when our regional and national services are included.

This is a fulltime, permanent post of 37 hours per week, with a shift pattern of Monday to Friday.

An exciting opportunity within NHSGGC Dietetic Service for a Band 5 clinical rotational dietitian. The successful candidate will contribute to the delivery and development of a clinically effective dietetic service in Greater Glasgow and Clyde. Clinical rotations are across the adult dietetic service include Oncology, Rehabilitation /Neurosciences, Surgery/critical care, Respiratory/Medical/Gastroenterology and the Pharmacy Services Prescribing Support Unit (PPSU). Delivering care in accordance with Service Standards, National Professional Standards of Practice and the Health and Care Professions Council Standard of Conduct Performance and Ethics. There are 14 rotations, and each rotation is for up to 9 months.

Applicant requires minimum education to BSc Dietetics qualification, registration with Health Care Professionals Council, member of British Dietetic Association and PVG membership scheme / Disclosure Scotland.

• Interviews will be held in August.
• Interviewees will be asked to give a 10min presentation - 'The purpose and use of nutritional screening in the NHS adult acute clinical setting'
• We would like to invite potential applicants to a Meet and Greet online session. This will take place via MS Teams 11th June 17:00-17:30. This will be an opportunity to find out more about the service, development opportunities and the interview process, as well as ask questions.
