We have a fleet of 5 vehicles. Here's what you’ll be doing:

• Lead the Way — Oversee our transport operation, fostering a high performing culture, and promoting a strong dedication to Health & Safety practices and compliance.
• Empowerment — Lead, develop, and inspire a multiskilled transport team, maintaining a can-do attitude across the team.
• Budget Mastery — Take charge of the Transport budget, balancing cost efficiency with top-tier service delivery.
• Performance Excellence — Design and deliver clear KPIs that drive productivity and efficiency. Identify opportunities to refine and improve performance across the team.
• Fleet Optimisation — Review fleet requirements proactively to maximise service and effective transport use.
• Operational Transformation — Drive change, implement best practices, and ensure consistent, high-quality transport processes.
• Compliance Champion — Ensure every driver meets regulations, keeping our operation safe, legal, and reliable.
• Incident Management — Manage incidents and accidents from initial reporting to root cause analysis.

• Monday to Friday
• 8:00am to 5:30pm
• 60-minute Break

You:

• Experience of performance management and development.
• Basic knowledge of risk assessment/H&S principles.
• Class 2 HGV licence (desirable)
• NEBOSH, IOSH or other safety management qualification (desirable)
• Competent in technology, systems and databases (desirable).
• Good leadership and organisation skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Comfortable lifting, moving and carrying items up to approx. 25kg
• Reach/Counterbalance FLT Licence (desirable)
