- Handling inbound/outbound calls and emails about plant and machinery hire
- Processing hire requests, payments and invoices
- Arranging transportation of equipment
- Developing professional relationships with internal and external clients
- Negotiating and converting hire enquiries into orders
- Using sales techniques to maximise cross selling opportunities
- Identifying and interpreting the best solution for the customers requirements
- Solving problems and multi-tasking within a busy office environment
- Managing plant operatives
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and written
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage paperwork, records and schedules
- Adaptability
- Comfortable working independently and managing multiple priorities
- Commitment to learn and develop
- Previous experience working within a plant hire company (essential)
- Computer and IT literate, proficiency in Connect is preferred
- Full UK driving licence
