Are you an experienced, motivated Associate Director in Civil Engineering with ambitions of progression and a drive to achieve success? Are you looking to lead and shape an Infrastructure team, as part of a leading multi-disciplinary construction consultancy? We are looking to expand thesenior management team and appoint anCivil Engineering exceptional Associate Director Civil Engineer to work across an array of projects within ourteam in Glasgow.Infrastructure Working closely with the Director, you will be responsible for leading major projects, across sectors including, Ports, Airports, Maritime, coastal, IndustrTake a look at some of our projects here:ial, residential, custodial, leisure, defence, education, healthcare and heritage. Discover our projects Pick Everard You will work to achieve the disciplines planned targets through excellent service delivery to our clients, coordinating project resources and liaising directly with clients. You will support business development activities producing fee proposals relating to the project and subsequent commercial delivery & sustainable development of new and existing business relationships. You willprovide support to the Civil Team for the delivery of Framework outputs and other projectsand prepare and oversee designs and reports. You will be responsible for the day-to-day control of programming and planning, staff resources and monitoring of team utilisation,along withteam development and training. You will be able to nurture emerging talent and provide valuable insights to help drive the business forward. Our ideal Associate/Associate Director Civil Engineer formust have:Scotland

  • The ability to lead a team, be forward-thinking, proactive and positive, with an understanding of key objectives and d and how to deliver them efficiently.iscipline deliverables within agreed fee allocations / budgets
  • Experience liaising with clients and managin schemes, as well as bespoke projects that will require practical application of your experience to date.gInfrastructure
  • Good knowledge of industry design software packages such as InfoDrainage, AutoCAD, Site 3D and Civil 3D.
  • Excellent communication skills, demonstrable through writing and presenting.
  • Experience owning, overseeing and coordinating project delivery and maintaining consistency in client service within fee allocation / budgets.

It would be nice for you to have:

  • An ability to build a good rapport with other parts of our inter-disciplinary practice, while quickly developing a clear understanding of our values, culture and business goals.
  • CEng or IEng status.
  • Experience in a variety of different forms of contract.
  • Experiencein the rail industry and as a CRE
  • The desire to establish and maintain your Continuing Professional Development (CDP) plan of training in accordance with Institutional requirements
  • A focus on delivery and highest quality of outputs
