In this role of Service Engineer, you will be carrying out fault finding and diagnosis to a range of diesel generator sets. You will be resolving electrical and mechanical engine problems as well as replacing electrical and mechanical components. As a Service Engineer you will also carry out generator servicing.
What you’ll be doing:
- Carry out planned service and maintenance work on customer generators
- Carry out remedial repairs & load bank testing
- Carry out panel upgrades
- Fault find and carry out breakdown repairs to customers equipment
- Carry out site surveys requests as required
- Carry out duties on our company on call rota system
- Work overtime and away from home as required.
- Complete fully detailed reports on the REA
- Complete and supply fully detailed timesheets in the required timeline.
- Maintain appropriate and accurate stock van levels
- Comply with the Company Health & Safety Policy, including carrying out general housekeeping to ensure work areas are tidy. This includes company vehicles
- Comply with all aspects of the Company’s ISO standards: Quality management - ISO 9001:2015 / Environmental - ISO 14001: 2015 / Occupational health and safety management - ISO 45001:2018, proactively contributing to the company’s continuous improvement programme
