Meraki Talent has been exclusively retained to appoint a Head of Business Services & Outsourced Finance for a forward-thinking and rapidly expanding Chartered Accountancy firm in Scotland.
This is a newly created, strategic leadership role, reporting directly to the board and designed for a proven leader ready to shape and grow a critical division of the firm.

This is a unique opportunity to take full ownership of an established Business Services & Outsourced Finance function. You will lead a team of professionals ranging from Associate to Senior Manager level across multiple locations.
The successful candidate will be the figurehead of this service line, responsible for shaping its future, embedding best practices, adopting emerging technologies, and ensuring exceptional client delivery in an evolving digital landscape.

- Define and implement the Business Services strategy, aligned with firm-wide objectives
- Lead and manage the division across all operational, reporting, and compliance functions
- Drive innovation and efficiency through automation, digital tools, and workflow improvements
- Act as a strategic advisor to the Board and contribute to overall firm direction
- Inspire and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration
- Proven track record as a Director or Partner within Business Services, Advisory, or Outsourced/Virtual Finance in Practice
- ACA/ACCA/ICAS qualified or equivalent (desirable but not essential)
- Strategic thinker with commercial acumen and a client-first mindset
- Experienced in leading multi-site teams and managing change in growing organisations
- Candidates from industry backgrounds with relevant leadership experience will also be considered
