Introduction to the role

Key tasks and accountabilities:Subright Processing
Carry out all daily sub rights tasks. Tasks includes (but not limited to):

Key tasks and accountabilities:Subright Processing
Carry out all daily sub rights tasks. Tasks includes (but not limited to):
- Allocation of sub rights monies to appropriate author/earners
- Liaise with payees and internal HCP departments in relation to the collection and processing of sub right monies due/received.
- Miscellaneous administrative tasks associated with the processing of sub rights monies.
- Processing of daily cash receipts
- Processing and control of regular invoices and reminders re unpaid monies due (alternate)
- Manage the team shared mailbox
- Respond to both internal and external queries and requests for royalty information which may arise, including queries in relation to bi-annual royalty statements
- Aid royalty team at peak times in statement production, payments and other ad hoc exercises as required
- Broad/General experience within a Finance function
- Accounts receivable experience is required
- Royalty/Publishing finance experience is not essential but a nice to have
- Willing to adapt to changing priorities
- Strong Excel skills
- Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail
- Knowledge of the workings of a Royalty application would be an advantage
- PowerBi experience
- PowerApps experience
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Able to deal with pressures of workload
- Polite, professional, enthusiastic and calm
