We a key role in delivering complex civil engineering solutions, including roads and bridges, port infrastructure, marine works, flood prevention, streetscaping, substations, underground power networks, battery storage facilities, grid stabilisation infrastructure, and wind farm developments.
Our diverse portfolio spans critical national infrastructure projects in Scotland’s transport and energy sectors.
Duties and Responsibilities Develop comprehensive project schedules from inception to completion, incorporating all necessary activities, tasks, and milestones.
Collaborate with project teams to understand project requirements, constraints, and objectives.
Conduct critical path analysis and identify potential bottlenecks or delays in project timelines.
Utilize project management software (e.g., Primavera P6, Asta Powerproject, Microsoft Project) to create, update, and monitor project schedules.
Prepare progress reports and presentations for project stakeholders, highlighting key milestones, accomplishments, and areas of concern.
Analyse resource allocation and utilization to optimize efficiency and productivity.
Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and resources as per project requirements.
Monitor and track project progress against baseline schedules, identifying deviations and implementing corrective measures when necessary.
Skills and Experience Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
Proficiency in project management software, such as Primavera P6, Asta Powerproject, Microsoft Project, or similar tools.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to perform critical path analysis and identify potential risks.
