NHS Scotland
Date: 17 hours ago
City: Glasgow
Contract type: Full time
Work schedule: Full day

NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is one of the largest healthcare systems in the UK employing around 40,000 staff in a wide range of clinical and non-clinical professions and job roles. We deliver acute hospital, primary, community and mental health care services to a population of over 1.15 million and a wider population of 2.2 million when our regional and national services are included.
The shift pattern for this post is over a 7 day flexible rota, working under NHS rostering policy, working 1 in 2 weekends, bank holidays, and providing emergency cover when necessary.
The Enhanced Drug Treatment Service (EDTS) is an exciting development within NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde and the first in Scotland, operating 7 days a week, 365 days a year. This service is an extension to existing alcohol and drug recovery services, and aims to reduce individual and community drug related harm. The service is delivered by a multi-disciplinary specialist team in a bespoke clinical environment, in which the pharmacy team play a central role.
This role will be both exciting and challenging and we are looking for a highly motivated, confident and organised individual to join the EDTS pharmacy team, and support the work of the NHS GGC ADRS Lead Pharmacist in the continued delivery of high quality pharmaceutical care.
This is a fantastic opportunity for the right person to develop their existing skills within pharmacy, with the full support of the wider management structure, gaining the necessary experience to achieve success as a key member of this specialist clinical service.
