The Team

The Global Transformation department at Clyde & Co is on an exciting journey to realise the firm's appetite for greater coordination and strategic focus across our global portfolio of projects and programmes. The Global Transformation department includes Project Delivery and Business Analysis teams (both of which support projects and programmes led by the Global Transformation department), and the Change Management Office (CMO) and Enterprise Portfolio Management Office (EPMO), both of which provide services firm-wide. The Programme Coordinator sits in the Project Delivery team.

The delivery team provide professional programme and project delivery services to the firm, enabled by efficient and effective processes, methods, tools and governance. The team partners with the business to plan, set up, run and deliver project outcomes and benefits. The team is currently supporting a portfolio of large-scale transformation programmes.

The Role

The Programme Coordinator role is responsible for providing support to Programme Managers in overall coordination, documentation and governance of the programme.

It will require excellent organisational skill, attention to detail and a grasp of how best to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment. As such, the role will require strong communication and an ability to build effective working relationships with all team members and stakeholders within a programme.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a track record of successful coordination in a fast-paced professional services company or comparable environment. Additionally, the successful candidate will have a track record of working collaboratively with colleagues across all levels including senior roles (C-Suite, Directors, Heads of Department). Previous project experience is beneficial but not essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintains comprehensive centalised programme documentation, including; delivery and workstream plans, Sponsor and weekly reports, risk management plans to ensure all programme information is accurately captured and accessible.
  • Coordinates programme and operational governance including meeting schedules, resourcing availability and reporting of projects to optimise project delivery timelines and outcomes.
  • Monitors project progress against milestones, deliverables, and budget constraints, escalating issues to programme managers, project managers and other stakeholders as necessary.
  • Work day-to-day with the Programme Manager to agree any further coordination support required based on the needs of the programme.
