We are currently supporting our forward-thinking client in the recruitment for an IT Infrastructure Manager to lead its infrastructure strategy and transformation. This is an brilliant opportunity for a seasoned infrastructure leader to shape the future IT landscape of a growing, global business.

As Infrastructure Manager, you will oversee the transition to a more cloud-appropriate environment, optimise current services, and manage a high-performing global team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong technical background, a strategic mindset, and proven team leadership experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic leadership for IT infrastructure across global sites

  • Lead the cultural and structural alignment of the infrastructure function in a multi-entity environment

  • Drive digital transformation from a predominantly on-premise model to a hybrid/cloud-appropriate setup

  • Manage performance, objectives and development of a globally distributed infrastructure team

  • Work closely with architects to align infrastructure initiatives to the wider IT framework

  • Maintain oversight of budgets, contracts and service delivery standards

  • Promote collaboration with wider IT functions and non-technical stakeholders

  • Ensure continuity and resilience across the global infrastructure estate

What We're Looking For

  • A wealth of experience within IT Infrastructure Management or similar senior-level role

  • Track record of successfully leading infrastructure transformation initiatives, ideally in a complex or M&A environment

  • Experience moving from on-premise to cloud/hybrid infrastructure models

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills

  • Strong commercial awareness and budget management capabilities
